Trying to have a leisurely browse through patterns at my local fabric shop is nigh on impossible with two kids in tow, but I attempted it anyway and saw the New Look 6115 kids dress pattern. I loved it right away and knew it would be perfect to make a dress for Layla to wear at an upcoming wedding. Plus it was half price in the sale! I also had the perfect bird print fabric for it at home in my stash.
This was my first attempt at a bubble hem and it was surprisingly easy. The pattern is great – clear, easy to use and came together a treat. I would highly recommend it!
